Ten or twenty years ago if I had mentioned a detox most people would have assumed I meant from drugs. However in recent years a lot of people have been waking up to the fact that we have toxins all around us that we breath, eat, and drink every day! These toxins come from the way our food is processed, the cars we drive, or the chemicals we add to our water to make it “safer”. Toxins can cause inflammation, which can cause muscle, joint and body, respitory, arterial, digestive tract problems and pains… these issues from the daily ingestion of toxins may become widespread body cell inflammation. And that is where Nopalea comes into your daily routine. Made from the Nopal Cactus fruit which contains rare antioxidants (Belatains) that are scientifically proven to help the body reduce inflammation. When you take Nopalea daily it can help your body to reduce inflammation, cleanse itself of daily toxins, and promote optimal health. In conjunction with your daily routine of vitamins and minerals a detoxifying anti-inflammatory like Nopalea may help you to live a much more energetic fulfilling life!

Lets face it, most of us don’t remember second grade math by the time we have kids. Something that you learned so long ago that you never remember learning it is very hard to teach… it comes naturally now so you look at it and say to yourself “Well it’s this way because…” and you draw a blank. Believe me it happens to me all the time with our second grader, being Mr. Stay at Home Dad and my wife working nights I am often the one helping him with his homework, and while I can easily answer it for him, I know that’s not helpful to his learning. After struggling for a long time to find a balance I finally discovered Scholastic’s website with premium downloadable 2nd grade math worksheets. It helps me to explain to him better why things work the way they do at the level he is learning at, and also gives extra practice in addition to his schoolwork and homework so he can learn more completely.

I’m not a fan of half truths any more than lies… because lets face it, a half truth is a lie. So I came across this the post on facebook the other day:

=========================================

– Delivered 4,000 babies, never lost a mother, never performed an

abortion, never lost a child.

– Is a practicing, Southern Baptist Christian

– Has TWO brothers that are practicing Christian ministers

– Supports Israel’s sovereignty and Independence from foreign influence

and their right to defend themselves

– Is Morally opposed to abortion and legally opposed to Roe V. Wade as it

pertains to state’s rights and Federal power

– Has NEVER voted for a tax increase

– Is opposed to pre-meditated mass murder through aggressive war and

invasion.

WHERE IS RON PAUL? WHO IS RON PAUL?

What do YOU … believe?

========================================

Not a bad sentiment… and some of it is true. However, fighting for the cause of Ron Paul and liberty, we can’t be caught spreading half truths, lies, or deception just to swing sentiment in our favor. I actually just about reposted it to my wall before I spotted something terribly false in the first statement. So I left a message on this fellow Ron Paul supporters post “Several children were lost under Ron Paul’s practice… Some times there is nothing anyone can do, not even Dr. Paul. He never charged a family if they lost their child though, that does set him apart from other doctors.” The admin of the page deleted the post… but not before accusing me of lies, deception, and having no proof for my horrendous claim and attempt to smear Ron Paul’s name. I found it a little bit odd but felt the need to reply again, with some “evidence” I had seen earlier in the campaign that supports what I just said.

Do you really believe that since 1969 when Dr. Paul opened his clinic he never saw a “still born” child? Really? You believe it so much to not even give time for someone to respond before you delete their comments?

The first statement of this cannot be validated. It’s a good sentiment and if you shorten it to “-Delivered 4,000+ babies, and never performed an abortion” it would be true. He’s said many times that he’s never found a case where performing an abortion would save the mothers life (as many left wing folks claim is so frequently necessary… or at least they bring it up as an example every time abortion bans are brought up). Doesn’t mean he never lost a child, or necessarily that he never lost a mother. I don’t have any documentation on whether or not he ever lost a mother, patient doctor confidentiality blocks those records, as you would hope that they would. I do have a testimony from a man who had a still born child under Dr. Paul’s care… which would make your ridiculous effort to cover up the truth naive, foolish, and counter productive towards the Ron Paul Revolution. You should never fear truth… truth can only do harm to those who have been dishonest.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Rv0Z5SNrF4

So maybe I was a little bit harsh in the reply, but also didn’t find it necessary for a supposed truth lover to accuse me of hating truth before deleting my post.

I’ve always loved Rally racing, but only recently got into it and started following some teams, and events. When I heard there was a stage rally event in Missouri I was very excited to try and attend next year! Especially near my birthday it’s the perfect excuse for a little adventure… then it occurred to me… We’ve got an old Corolla sitting in the driveway that I was going to use to teach Rose to drive with… Can’t hurt to do a little transformation of it and turn it into a rally machine while I’m at it huh? Well I’ve already started the process. It will undoubtedly take a lot of effort, and some learning along the way, but it does sound like an awesome event to get into. More to come in the future, I’m sure I’ll be going through a process of how to turn a regular street car into a production class rally car… and beyond.

Lingerie shopping shouldn’t be painful, neither should your bra. If you are feeling the burn in your wallet, or in your bra from trying to get just that perfect bra… well then you need to start shopping at Her Room, the online bra shop that sells amazing products, at reasonable prices, without any embarrassment. Not all women are created equal, and what a boring world it would be if they were! That’s why Rhonda Shear invented the ahh bra that conforms to your body more naturally so that you can be comfortable! The Ahh Bra is one of those products made for real women, by a real woman… unlike most bras that I’ve heard joked about must have been invented by a man. If you’re a healthy lady you might be searching for plus size lingerie to get your man excited when you want a little hanky panky if you know what I mean Anymore if you’re not anorexic thin you’re in the plus size lingerie category, which can be more than a little frustrating. But fear not, Her Room has all the products you’re looking for such as the Ahh Bra by Rhonda Shear, plus size lingerie for the curvy ladies out there, and Hanky Panky brand products for when you want to get his attention And all at better prices than you will find at retail outlet stores!

What my friends had to say:

Nah, too many people prefer to be employees. Stability beats opportunity.

My response:

There is only stability in corporatism because it has rooted itself in our lives over the last 400 years. When EIC was first established it had its hard times, many believed that the corporate world would never survive because it would be the death of creativity. Back then people lived and died on creativity, if you weren’t creative you were a beggar in the gutter. No one understood how you could increase value without creativity, except a few men who first pitched the multi-million dollar loan to the bank of England. After less than a year of operation they went back to a large central European bank for a bailout (once again worth millions of dollars, and over 400 years ago). EIC ended up successful in their endeavor to squeeze value out of time. On average the corporate world has managed to squeeze a 4% value increase out of their work force every year, compounding, for the last 400 years. Wal-Mart was the most successful at leveraging local governments (that gave them free land just to have the opportunity for them to build there), state governments (that often gave them 0 taxes for up to 10 years for building new stores), federal governments (both US and China that helped to subsidize their manufacture and shipping costs). The success of Wal-Mart forced other corporations to keep up, then the house of cards started to crumble in the late 90′s. It’s a little known story, but the corporate world has been slipping for nearly 15 years now… it’s why over 11,000 new pages of law are added to the books every year. Corporations are trying to keep themselves relevant with the forceful arm of their conglomerate (the government). However, the government is broke… so people have to go somewhere.

It is unlikely that any of us will see in our lifetime the full potential of collaborative efforts… There is a lot that must happen before we do.

I do agree with you most people just want to be told what to do. Before the corporate world we had the feudal lord system, both center around a few people telling large groups of people what to do. These small businesses that emerge in the collaborative effort will need workers to update their sites, pick up supplies, deliver finished goods, etc. But I really think we’re headed away from the corporate world, and more into an artist driven collaborative approach.

The corporate model, born in 1600 with the East India Company, is dying out. Don’t get me wrong, they’re fighting tooth and nail to try and legislate their way into relevance… you see big business needs big government to survive, and vice versa. Unfortunately for all of them, while they had a good 400+ year run, the next big thing is coming. With the internet and lessons we’ve learned from corporations everybody has the opportunity to be their own boss. Through collaboration efforts I’d be willing to bet that in the next 10-20 years we’ll start seeing everything from cars, to movies being produced on large scale by small independent home based businesses working through collaboration efforts across the country, and across the world.

What makes me think this? Well, the world is shifting towards collaborative efforts for proof just look to Torrents, eBay, Pinterest, Google AdWords, Etsy, Prosper, heck even the large corporate retail shops allow small independent contractors to sell through their sites (Amazon, NewEgg). It’s easier now for a person to make money from home than ever… and do so with creative designs. In the corporate model efficiency of design and building was key this next wave is going to be seen as a rebirth of creativity and art in the items we use daily. While most of these efforts are still very small independent groups of 1 or 2 people making a living off of one larger corporate site… that’s about to change. Once we establish a place for people to collaborate and work on their projects together for example in vehicular manufacturing from home it will need to be a conglomeration of engineers, tradesmen, financiers, etc. But we’ve already seen this established with some open source car designs that are being build… just small scale… once it goes larger scale we’ll start seeing the big government, big business model die out.

Some times being Mr. Work From Home Dad can be a pain… from my son’s obsession with yogurt… or his inability to finish a container of yogurt before getting 5 more out of the fridge. To the frusterations with trying to teach him to read… or rather getting him to sit still long enough to read a full story to him. I think he’s got the first three pages of every book he owns memorized… beyond that it’s anybodies guess if he’ll still be around, trying to rip the pages, or jumping on the back of the couch. Luckily I’m not alone, I’ve got some help from Scholastic! They’ve got over 15,000 teaching worksheets that go from Preschool Worksheets which are great for me right now, all the way through 8th grade. Preschool Worksheets give me a few minutes of peace where I can give my son some crayons, these great preschool worksheets, and let him go at it! Then I can get a few minutes of work done online! Wait… no… I spoke too soon he’s writing on the walls… Awww man, don’t eat the crayons!!!
